Be Creative

Creativity is a key component of all writing. If you aren’t able to be unique, then you don’t stand a chance of being widely read. People don’t want to hear the same things over and over again, they like to hear something new that makes them think, they like their ideas to be challenged.

If you are creative with your writing, people will notice. Of course you still need to solve the problem of attracting readers, but if you develop great content then you will have a much better change of gaining an audience than if you rambled about the same thing everybody else rambled about that day.

How can you become creative? Well, I’m not quite sure if it’s built-in or learned, but I do know that it has a lot to do with self-confidence and thinking. First off, you have to be willing to stand out in a crowd - don’t worry about what other people in your industry are saying. Secondly, you have to be willing to develop your thought process to a point where other people can understand it.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re putting together a story, a sales letter, a blog article, or taking a picture. If you can take a new angle and create something different, people will appreciate it.
