Small idea good idea. Smart branding.

As many of you already know, besides being the founder of Advice Network, I am a photographer. Today in the regular course of running my photography business, I came across  a little bit of clever branding that just made a company some money.

If you are like me, you research low prices online.  You wade into a sea of Google ads for any purchase over $10, looking for the best deal. And if you are like me, two things happen.

1. Whoever you end up ordering from, you promptly forget them, because they are just like the other 20 sites you looked at and discarded.

2. You hate the whole thing as a time consuming waste.

A few times a year, I go online looking for the best price on the  cardboard boxes I use to ship wedding albums.

Well, today I pulled my last one out of the pile so I knew it was time to repeat the price search ritual. Only, look, there on the box. To Reorder got to Papermart.com. Now I knew from my last foray, that they had really good prices, so why bother doing that search all over again.

It was like a nice little reminder, waiting for me at just the right place and time. Are there places like that that you brand your business? If so, why don’t you let us know in the comments.
