Thanks to bug spotter number two
Julie from Internet Business Detective has let me know about a bug in the registration page. Sometimes the states are not coming up properly. If you get that bug, select country again, and see if that helps. My developer is on the case, so hopefuly you won’t have to deal with it.

Thanks for addressing this problem so promptly and thoroughly - it’s a rare thing to find that level of service via support e-mails!
