Blog Competition: Top Three Tips
I’ve gone over the articles for the DailyBlogTips project and have narrowed down my three favorites:
First off, LiteMind gave us 6 Tips to Generate Outstanding Ideas. I chose this article because of the unique thoughts and truly helpful tips. We can all learn from the advice given and apply to real life. I particularly liked this quote regarding productivity: “it is only through quantity that you get quality.”
This is something that can apply to a wide range of topics outside of what the author was specifying. One example that lines up with the purpose of the Advice Network is that “it is only through a high quantity of people that you get quality clients.”
The second article in this contest that stood out to me was “4 Free Tips To Get More Exposure For Your Blog” by Kyle’s Cove. Right now, I’m in the process of growing this blog as well as this whole website. These ideas behind these tips have made many men prosperous by simply doing unto others as you’d want them to do unto you. If I write a great post, I’d love to get some comments back or some sweet link love. Therefore, when I see other people doing a great job, it’s my duty to leave a comment or trackback. Not only will it make them happy, but it might even drive more traffic to my site.
Lastly, how could you argue with a post that has over 800 diggs? Performancing put together a very comprehensive post entitled “27 Tips for Building a Kick-Ass Blog.” This post was the most credible one in the whole list, in my opinion. Not only are the tips great, but it also comes from a writer that is putting it all into practice! I’m still planning on how I’ll implement what I’ve learned from that reading.

Wedding photographers, or any photographers for that matter, already know that it is only through quantity that you get quality, isn’ it?
Thanks for your compliments for my article. I’m very glad you liked it.

Luciano,
You may be referring to the about me post I actually created Advice Network because of my experience running a wedding photography business! I think the biggest part of inspiration is listening to the voice in your head that says “I wish this thing was different.” “Why can’t I get this thing to do this other thing?” If you are having those thoughts, you are on to something!
I was very glad to see your article and your comment on my blog. I’m going to spend some more time on your blog too. I just found the mind mapping post and I can’t wait to dig deeper.
