Tips on Writing an Advice Article
When you’re writing an article that is intended to promote your services, you need to make sure that it is representative of the quality of work you provide. Every article you write has a chance to be the first article that somebody has ever read with your name on it. You are making a first impression every time you write, so it is extremely important that this impression is a good one.
First of all, you must make sure to know your audience. An article that is intended for young men will look very different than one directed at elderly women. So, you must decide on what type of reader you are targeting. A very narrow target will greatly attract a small amount of readers while a very broad target will be slightly attractive to a large amount of readers.
Define what you are looking for and go for it!
As you write your article, keep your audience in mind. It is important to give them what they want while still getting your message across. If you are writing an article for new photographers, you’ll want to ensure that you don’t go in too deep; define your words and be precise. However, if you are writing an article for advanced photographers then you have to make sure that you don’t tread too shallow; beginner definitions be insulting to your readers. By looking through the eyes of your targeted audience you can create an article that has a much better impact that one that is intended for your own purpose.
Secondly, you must make sure to create a title that is both attractive and exclusive to what you are talking about. It is more important to direct the correct traffic to your articles than to attract people who are looking for something else. Going with the earlier example, if you’re writing an article for beginner photography then you’ll want to have a title that makes that apparent. If you have the wrong title, you might find people being quite disappointed in the message you are presenting even if it is a wonderful message intended for other readers.
